Inspired by a photo, scene or one of my own previous oil paintings, my mosaics are hand cut from rich colors of stained glass, many times with no preliminary sketch, and mounted into durable and luminous mosaic wall hangings.  

Every piece is one of a kind.

My contemporary glass mosaics meld the ancient art of mosaic with the complexity and textures of modern glass.

Spending nearly 18 years in South America and around the world working in nursing and education brings the vitality of the rainforest and the strength of new cultures explored to my work. 

Living and traveling in contrasting cultures and countries, I weave my love of nature with what I have learned abroad. I think that this is what gives my work its vibrancy and uniqueness.
